What service has been done on used car?

    I bought a used 2006 Prius with 126K miles on the car (3rd owner) 2nd owner said he lost the car fax from the 1st owner; he bought when car is 110K miles.

    How I can find out what service has been done on the car from dealer?

    A US Toyota dealer service dept should be able to look up the record of past service performed by other US Toyota dealers.

    Also, and I just found this out since I got my used 05 this past weekend, if you go to the "owner's section" of toyota.com, create an account and assign the VIN # to your account, the service records will appear, assuming they got it serviced by a toyota. Note - I'm not sure if the VIN # has already been assigned to another user on toyota.com, if this will work.

    Very cool. Thank you for the information. With your information, I was able to register and check all the records of all my cars (Toyota).

    I would not rely at all on car fax. My wifes old car was up to the roof under water, not on the car fax. My buddy was in an accident and he tells me that does not show up on the car fax for his car. The car fax service is a great idea, but in reality it is less than perfect.
