    Nice thread revival... the poll was in 2005, and it may also indicate more the overlap between prius owners and internet users then.

    I'm 22. The Prius is the first car I bought on my own. I love it and am totally proud to own one.

    It sure beats the crappy civics, subarus, and mazdas that my friends think are cool.

    I couldn't agree with you more. This is precisely the reason more young people don't drive Prius(es/i) is because they think Honda or Mazda is cooler when in fact, the Prius is probably one of the coolest car out there. It's a shame.

    I'm 26 in Los Angeles. I had a bmw but was never as excited to be in that car than the Prius :) On any occasion that needs a car, grocery, work, family visits, I'm just Sooo much more happier.

    Agreed! 17 when I traded in my lifted wrangler and got mine...friends have BMW, trucks, or some acura or mazda........I still like my car more!

    mostly the 30's and up will own a prius because of it saving money. the younger crowd would most likely not care about that as they would rather have a nice sports car

    25 here. Just traded my sports car for a Prius. I outgrew the need for all the horsepower.

    Prius is a cool car for each age level. In the area where I live, most prius owners are 20s and up.

    I will be 60 in 11 days and bought my Prius on March 13th 09. I love this car, it's a lot of fun to drive but will store it for the winter to keep the salt off her and drive my old standby 88 camry. She will be 22 in Jan.

    Cool, boppo... I'm only 51, but will drive my red prius through the winter. I do still own my 88 Corolla, but my son drives it.

    ( With thanks to asj2009 for "reviving" this thread / poll )

    Just turned 55 a few days ago ... was 53 when I bought Mithril ....

    Locally, it SEEMS that most who drive Prii are 40-60 ... this is based ONLY on my personal observations / estimates for the age of other Prius drivers that I see well enough to take a guess at their age.

    And, as an afterthought ...

    ... when a person driving a Prius sees a Prius on the road ...

    ... everyone else is probably be seeing TWO ....
