Looks like ASI exotic tuner is getting into the Prius tuning. These are just initial sketches. Seems a bit aggressive, what do you guys think.

ASI junior brand: Toyota Prius - speedMotiv

I mean who wants a un-driveable Prius? That is just as bad as those who buy a cheap Honda & then turn it into a fart-can POS. Just my 2 cents.

Looks driveable only where the roads and weather are always good.

I don't particularly favor this look and I completely agree with previous posts that it looks too low to be practical to me. But I think perhaps some of us get so excited by the economy of the Prius, we forget that it is just a really cool car. It has a sexy shape, all the right gadgets, and it is not slow! Yes, most of us drive it gently because we like getting 50+ mpg, but try putting your foot down sometime... it gets up and goes if you want it to - you don't have to drive it in the right lane, ya know.

Like I said, I'm not saying I like the concept up there at all, but hey, let the kids play. The more excited fans of the car there are, the bigger the aftermarket gets, and the more toys will come out for the car. And if enough goodies come out, some of them might even help the FE too :)

Wow! That rendition sits way too low. It couldn't go over speed bumps or even get from my driveway to the street without getting stuck.

Final rendition of the ASI front bumper. ASI Green: Prius - speedMotiv, definitely a bit too aggressive for me, wish they would have toned it down a bit and loose those big slits on the side. They have great designs for their ferrari and bentley kits, but this is kinda disappointing for me.

In lieu of a looking like one great filter-feeding shark/whale mouth,
this one has TWO great filter-feeding shark/whale mouths.
I suppose there is an implied claim of "new and improved" in there
    somewhere.

In addition to the not-proven-to-be-aerodynamic body pieces, this car
    has one or more of:
    1. Seriously lowered ($$$), or has
    2. Seriously oversized wheels and very low profile tires ($,$$$), or
    3. Both of the above ($$,$$$).

So to get the "look," there is considerable expense beyond the body kit
alone. And you have to drive it on a gym floor. (Even on the salt flats,
loose pieces of the surface would tear the pieces/panels to shreds.)

i'm new to the whole hybrid scene....but IMO cars like this is what they need to become successful w/ the tuner scene. speaking from my own experience, alot of ppl are scared away from them because they seem difficult to work on, and frankly, ugly. :D
