I'm brand new to this forum, so I don't know if I'm doing this correctly or not. Just picked up my Salsa Red '05 Friday with option package #5. I feel like George Jetson! My question: Are the seats treated with anything like Scotchguard? I can just see this ivory interior getting trashed in a hurry. Any experiences treating them yourself? On another note, I could not get the garage door programmed. I found this forum and discovered that if you have a Quantum brand opener, it cannot be programmed. I talked to my garage door guy and he verified this, but said that he could get some kind of gismo and put it on the opener and make it work. I'll let you know.

Welcome! Congrats on the new car!

If your seats are treated it should be listed on your window sticker. I know Southeast Toyota does it on their vehicles at port, so mine are scotchguarded.

The fabric seems to be quite durable, and you will see many people testifying to the ease of cleaning the interior.

I believe this post belongs in the Care and Maintenance forum (Moderators?), and in there you will be able to find all sorts of good tips for keeping your car clean. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply! I figured out that I was in the wrong place and did put a post in the care and maintainance forum. Thanks again!

If your garage door is not compatable with Homelink, you can go to https://secure.homelink.com/secure/shop.taf the top item is a receiver that will make your opener compatable.
