    Hi Everyone:),

Have a 2009 Touring Prius with just under 36,000 miles on it. Want to purchase an Extended Warranty. Submitted a request to Warranty Shack, and saw that it could take up to two business days to hear from them.

Want to get the maximum coverage, for the minumum years. Called the dealership who said I would have to purchase the 6 Year and 100,000 mile warranty.

Does anyone know what Warranty Shack charges for their warranty, or if can purchase it for less years..for example, 4 years with 100,000 miles?

Thank you ALL in advance for your help. The mileage snuck up on me and I realized that I am going to be driving quite a bit over the next few days.

    Erin Rothchild :)

They are selling Toyota's warranty so they have the same options as the dealer as they are a dealer. They have different mileage and year options, but it must be purchase when you have under 36K miles

This shows the options. looks like a 4 year / 125,000 mile is the most miles shortest time.

Those are list prices, not what you pay.

    I got 7yr/75K from Troy (warrantyshack.com) for ~$700.
According to the table posted above, the 4yr/125K runs for about the same price.
Therefore, you could expect a price tag of $700 also for 4yr/125K.
(that is 50% off MSRP, BTW)
