At last! After 3 months of wait, I finally got it. It was supposed to take 6-8 weeks, but mine had to be reprocessed as it was lost the first time. This info has been posted before, but I thought I'd reposted it here since this seems to be a little publicized program and none of the 3 dealers I talked even mentioned it. The URL for the website is here: enintech: Hybrid Vehicle The form to submit is here: http://www.depweb.state.pa.us/enintech/lib/enintech/afig/hybrid/hev7000-fm-etd0035.doc And the list of eligible vehicles is here: http://www.depweb.state.pa.us/enintech/lib/enintech/2009_Eligible_Hybrid_Vehicles_Sept_1_09.doc Obviously the 2010 Prius is eligible, but you must submit the form within 6 months of the purchase date. This program is for Pennsylvania residents only. You get a $500 check on the mail after 6-8 weeks of processing, so it is better than a tax credit.
I received mine a week ago. It only took five weeks. I guess I was lucky to get it that soon. The Commonwealth must have waited for the budget to pass.
I would think that you still qualify. Click on the link and call the toll free number. enintech: Hybrid Vehicle I hand carried my application to the DEP in Harrisburg, PA. *Hey the check didn't "bounce" either.
Yes you are, there are still funds available, as long as you submit within 6 months of purchase, you're good.
Thanks for posting, I was wondering how long it would take. Sent mine on 9/9/09, so I guess I have to wait a little longer.
Thanks for posting!!! For some reason I was not aware of this rebate. Looks like I have an early Christmas present.
Thanks and WOW! I had no idea that this program even existed. My dealer did not mention it. I sent my rebate form today! Prius Chat members rule!
Recieved my check yesterday. Took about 6 weeks. I think they started sending them out after the budget passed.
Just got mine today and it was also exactly 6 weeks. I wonder if this program will be around because I heard that the PA DEP just had their budget cut by 25% and they are laying off about 5% of their staff tomorrow.
Got it today...6 weeks. It would be a shame if the dealer didn't mention it...added incentive to make the purchase.
I mailed the paperwork 2 weeks ago. I asked the salesperson why he didn't mention this program. He told me it was because the program "comes and goes". He didn't want to "get my hopes up in case it doesn't go through". Given that I made the decision to purchase before I even knew of the rebate this makes no sense at all to me. Oh, well. Her's hoping there's still cash for the program by the time they process my application.ray2:
Awsome, Thanks for the information. Definetly going to get this out in the mail this week. Didn't know about this. 01/12/2010: Got it in the mail on 01/08. We'll see how long it takes me to get it. Again thanks for the information.
