    Hey guys!!

I'm stuck... My 08 has the Bisque interior, but I really love the the two-tone look I've seen on some of your posts here.

I'm torn between getting a set of Wet Okole seat covers in the two tone look...

    Or

Getting a set of leather covers from leatherseats.com. These ar not covers, but a full upholstery replacement.

They can be had for about the same amount of $$ (under $600 for full fronts and back seat) I love the look and feel of leather, but I'm not sure if I want to put myself through the trauma of dissasembling and reassembling my interior.
The Wet Okole's are great, but after all.. they are neoprene. There's nothing like leather!

I've seen varioys threads here about installation of both. Neither is easy, but a replacement will be much harder than a cover.
I should mention that I'm pretty handy... but not crazy!

So my question is this... Would you buy the Wet Okole neoprene covers? Or the leather from Leatherseats.com?

    Thanks for your help!!

I love leather but unless aftermarket is done properly it can look horrible... Look at their work first and then make a determination IMO. I am not familiar with pricing but doesn't $600 sound a bit low especially if they are not covers? Like I said I could be wrong...

Funny you should mention the workmanship... That's the issue at hand... that price is for the materials only.. I would be doing all the work myself. I've heard of otyher members here doing the work themselves with great results... Kinda wondering if I'm up to it!

I'd go with the "wet Okie". I've seen them in person in other peoples Prius and they are absolutly gorgeous. Then when you want to sell or trade in your Prius take them off and you'll have a like new interior which will add value.

I wouldn't say "like new"... I bought my 08 used when it was only 6 months old and the interior was already quite dirty. They apparently had dogs and kids (no offense to those with dogs and kids. My dogs ARE my kids!) it was full of dirt, sand, dog hair, catsup packets, eww!... Not sure why they traded it back in, but thier loss was definitely my gain!!

I've never been a fan of a light beige interior and it shows dirt very easily. I've already had it cleaned twice, but the previous owner's stains come back.. (koolaid?)

I tend to be a bit of neat freak and I can't stand the look of my original interior anymore. That's why I'm looking at options.. not for trade in, but for my own sanity!

go for the leather re-upholstery option with stand out stitching.... IMHO... i don't think leather seat covers could ever look as good as the real thing.

I did the Wet Okoles, and am quite happy with them. Pix on my website. The installation was tedious but not difficult. A lot of bending and crawling and pulling and stretching. Easy to clean, and are holding up well.
