This is my first silver card and I LOVE it!! I love that it makes the shape of this Prius look spaceshape-ish! :alien: :alien:

All my cars and trucks have been silver or gray. Except for the blue Accord and the red Integra and the green Sentra and the blue LeSabre and the beige LeSabre and the blue Electra and the white Jeep and the white Mavrick and the red Vega.

I got the red and I just love, love, love it!! I receive loads of compliments.. I waited a month for this and I'm so glad I did. I just never was a silver or grey person. Along with white and black I just don't consider them colors. Doesn't matter though - as long as you got what you wanted - that's what counts.

I originally wanted blue or white, but I ended up with silver. Now that I've had it a few months, I really don't mind it. It doesn't show dirt/scratches/swirls too bad and it doesn't get as hot as darker colors. It's understated and classy, lol.

I specifically wanted the silver because I liked it the best out of all the colors.. Funny how we all perceive things differently. :D Cleaning is a snap indeed...

I just realized the exterior color may not be very important to us at all because we rarely have time to appreciate it.

Yesterday I tried to see the outside color when I drive my Sandy Beach V. But the only hint I got was from the mirror shell rims on the left and right.

But we are looking at the interior color all the time as long as we are driving the car or in the car.

I didn't want silver. Wife did. So we got silver. Her logic was is shows less dirt. Now we have it I think the contrast between the dark glass of the sun roof and tinted windows is very sharp.
Conclusion: I like the Prius in any of its colors, and it's hard to know what a color will look like from a catalog. Maybe I'd prefer not to be given a choice, so then no regrets.

I thought that the Prius was the California state car. Much like the California valley quail was the state bird, or the golden poppy is the state flower. :D

I have to admit that the Ribbon Blue Prius is an absolutely beautiful machine....but I got Silver Prius. I think a silver car has a subtle and refined look about it.
From a practical standpoint silver doesn't show dirt and doesn't have to be washed quite as often as other colors, nor are minor scratches very noticeable. From a safety standpoint silver is a bright color and quite visible under most circumstances.

I was in the same boat (or on the same fence :)) and went with Blizzard Pearl in the end. I'm still glad I got the white (thrilled actually), but was at the dealer yesterday for my free 5K oil change, and they had a silver 2010 on the lot. I would not have been disappointed to own this color. Very nice.

I was opting for silver earlier, but glad I didn't pick that one. It is too common and kinda boring.

I have seen myself (or rather my car) on many a corner, even at a stop light the other day. But I still love my little silver car.

I was planning on black all along, until I saw it in person, and it just didn't do anything for me. As soon as I saw the silver, I knew it was my color! In the month since I've had it, I have seen a few of every other color on the road except silver.

I wanted brown wife wanted red. We got the red one. It really looks good but does show the dirt and chips.

under the silver paint is black body, it does in fact show scratches nicely..like any light color would.

Yep.. and I even had a hard time getting the silver. Every local dealer I called said they rarely get them unless they are preordered(I was winging it, did not order one). Finding mine was a fluke, I caught it as it was newly listed online. The original seller didn't follow through, and I bought it the next morning.

I see mostly reds and blues. No silvers (or winter gray, come to think of it) yet.
