I'm buying a 2010 soon and would like to deal with a straight shooter. Is there anyone I should be contacting?

After spending 3 hours at Don Valley North Toyota in Toronto, I signed my name on the paper and bought the 2010 Prius Base+ Premium plus a few factory options. I don't know what you'd be looking for at the dealership (good price, nice salesperson...). If you are after the price, I think it makes not much difference no matter which dealer you go to, the price is more or less the same on the 2010 Prius. I paid to get the "Factory Invoice Price" quote so that I'd feel more secure of not overpaying to the dealer when I submitted my offer. At the end, the savings was minimal but I felt comfortable of what I paid. Hope that helps you in deciding where to go.

How long did they say you'd have to wait for your car?

Delivery date is Nov 24 or earlier. I asked them to check their upcoming inventory list twice and they guarantee the delivery date. I had them written in the contract too. DVNT is owned by Toyota Canada so I am not too worry that they will miss the shipment. If they do, I'm sure they will arrange a loaner for me.
I have planned the purchase of a hybrid vehicle almost a year ahead. I even took a Hybrid Technology 2-week course to understand the different hybrid technologies on the market. The Toyota Synergy is, to my understanding, the best one on the market. Every Toyota dealer I visited in Toronto area have at least one or two in their showroom. I don't think you'd have problem waiting for it, unless you require some special options or interior colour. I don't see a lot of Canadian forum members here so let me know if you have any questions and I'll be glad to help.
