The red prius just takes my breath away! It is so awesome! I guess I should really hold out for what I want, no matter how long the wait. Thanks for such a great picture!

I think the 3rd Gen Prius looks good when the sharp edges in the front and the rear are under emphasized... looking and identifying most of the pics that I liked in the entire forum made me realize this. Though don't get me wrong -- the entire design and the shape of the car is filled with a lot of functional and aesthetic elements that make me quite the happy camper.

I'm not sure if anyone has shared this to the forum already, but Jalopnik posted an article detailing the exterior and interior styling of the 3rd Gen Prius. I'm just going to link it in case people are interested in reading it, as it gave me a much higher appreciation of the various design aspects of the vehicle.

I'll admit that the side trim and the functionality of the design is what made me pounce on the car (not literally). Also, I found that it bared some minor resemblances to that other Toyota car I pined for a long time ago:

 

I love the lines in my Barcelona Red IV/SR. It's sexy- and you're right the photos typically don't reveal the real look of the car. For example I feel it's much more aggresive in real life than any photo can catch for some reason. And, from each different angle you catch a different look from the car, revealing different, subtle traits for its personality.
