Have been doing oil/filter/rotations every 5k miles (intermittent cabin and engine filters when dirty). Replaced tires at 40k. Havent had any issues with the car so far.

What are some must check/replace items that I am missing? I try to stay away from Toyota dealerships due to cost, but now that I am at 65k miles, wonder if its worth doing a full overhaul to see what needs changed/replaced. I have to assume my break pads should be looked at soon.

    Thanks for your advice!

Mechanic recommended Transmission service (flush)? Other than oil/filters/rotations, what else needs to be done?

I would recommend changing out the PCV valve as well as a transmission/differential fluid change, hopefully you have changed the air filter, if not every 15k miles is a good idea.

The galaxee list referenced above is in addition to the standard items shown in the Scheduled Maintenance Guide that came with the car, also shown here:
    Toyota Parts and Service

Anything else is pretty much a boat payment for the dealer.
