I apologize if that wasn't clear. Since this is a thread about using the iPhone in the car, I figured the people reading it would understand that FlickTunes is an iPhone App. If you don't have an iPhone, it's not for you. If you do, and you use it in the car for music, you'll no doubt have found out that the iPod player's controls are awkward (at best) to use when you're driving. FlickTunes aims to make it safer for you by providing simpler more eyes-free control.

However, since this thread was primarily about how to hookup the bluetooth audio specifically, please don't let my little post hijack the thread...

Has anyone been able to pair a 1st gen iPhone to both phone and music?

Or is a 3G or later required to pair both?

    Thanks

The 1st Gen iPhones won't stream music over Bluetooth. It should still pair up as a phone.

I have a Prius 2010 Package III, no nav. I paired it as a phone to the Prius' bluetooth. No problem there although I have not tried to call.

My question is, people talk about pairing it as an audio device.

Question 1: is it possible to pair the iphone as an audio device for a package III with no nav.

Question 2: There are instructions for pairing a blue tooth phone. How do you pair an audio device. What menu are on the car? It seems on my iphone, there is only one menu to turn on bluetooth (under settings).

Question 3: can someone give me step by step idiot proof instructions?

    Thanks
