I read the http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...6952-slip-indicator-comes-when-full-stop.html but it didn't fix my problem. I was on my drive way the other day installing my fog light stalk switch with my battery disconnected. After I finished the installation, that slip indicator came on. It doesn't beep or flash or anything. I tried the press the brake very hard to turn it off, but it doesn't work. I tried the release the brake but it doesn't do that delay on brake. Is there any way to turn it off?

I wonder if there is a chance you might have crossed or shorted something while you were re-wiring?
When I was working on my fog mod, I pulled a harness from my ECU to get a better look and I lost all my data on the HSI. Everything but my best tank average and the ODO. All my trip data is gone...:(

All my trip data is gone too but I know that is just because I disconnected my battery.

It was the 10 amp PCU fuse lower right end of the fuse box. I blew it twice and this caused the slip light to remain on until I replaced the fuse. Hope this helps Good luck

Just curious Jim, how did you blow the fuse twice? So I don't do it myself.

Shorted out the rear cargo lamp (Manual On/Off) switch. Very thin wires.

Hmm, mine is exhibiting the same symptoms but this time, it's all the interior lights are off and the slip indicator is solid. I'm having a hard time pulling out Fuse 29 (10A). What's the best way to remove the fuse?

There should be a fuse puller in the fuse box

It's a pain but check them all. Possibly the ones under the dash too.? It seems like this light might be used to indicate other faults.

Yup. I got my interior lights back, the cruise is working and the Slip Indicator is off.

Bummer. If you want that light off you will likely have to have the service dept. track it down for you. Just curious, can you tell if the hill-assist still works (beeps when you hold down the brake pedal for a few seconds)?

it doesn't beeps when I hold it down. I am afraid to go to the dealership that I bought my car from, since they refused to turn the seat belt warning beep thing and I used the techstream with the mongoose wire to turn it off myself. I am afraid they will blame it on that, but the light didn't turn on until I was doing that stalk installation for the fog light so I am pretty sure I didn't mess the car up by doing the program myself.
