      You asked me a question about inverters. ( I can't find the message anymore)

      your 400 would be fine. (keep the car running or add a bigger battery)

      the 2000 may not work. ( possible with a larger battery but more like two or three larger batteries) if the inverter trips, your batteries are drained and you're limited to car power... roughly 8 to 8.5 amps AC or 900 to 1100 watts. if you continue to pull too much, the car will "black out"... That's the ign-on computers losing power. No harm done if you do it once or twice but long blacking out a lot does still worry me.

      I encourage you to try different things. I've hauled around a large trackor battery as a replacement to my stock 12v being dead. it allowed me to jump start other cars and large truck without having to wait 15 minutes.
