      Apparently 8000 km service is just for fluid and other checkup. I was told by the service rep that the first oil change is @ 16,000 km.

      Howdy,
      I'm due to have my first oil change. It is recommended at 8,000 km, however, someone from this forum mentioned at 10,000. I'm confuse. Have you got yours change yet? Also, do you know if they use synthetic oil or not? Thanks, Andrew

        I just returned from a 3600km trip and now have around 5,000km and was wondering the same thing.
        I looked in the manual and didn't find anything helpful nor can I recall what I was told when I bought it. Probably best to call the service dept. tomorrow. All I remember was it was a lot longer than other cars I've owned.
