    Dirty old man, seeks clean running car.
    I owned a 2004 for 250k miles, and never had a lick of trouble.
    Who knew that when I traded it in for my 2014, I had just made such a huge mistake? The day I drove it off the lot, I was investing in a car that had a $4-6k balloon payment in terms of a new engine, and all of the headache it took to get there.
    Well, Toyota knew, that's who. They knew when they sold that car that there would be problems down the road (so to speak). They created the problem in 2010. Sure they issues some recalls, and replaced some parts, but for those of us that put more annual miles on a car, we were left in the dust.

    This section is titled "About You". Today, I am this. An unhappy, albeit disgruntled, Toyota Prius owner who has lost faith in this car company.

    Disgruntled, disheartened, and disenfranchised. I can't believe Toytota would allow this issue to go one for so long. This car was supposed to get my daughter through collage. She hasn't even made in to her second year.

    130K on car (engine head gasket and what appears to be rings in cylinder one, shot. Rebuilt Engine ordered.
