I would also ask your dealer about "Goodwill Warranty".
Thanks for all the knowledge!! We reinstalled the battery and so far no problems. Fingers crossed.
I didn't wait the 8 hours. Since the battery is under warranty, I know they would have charged it and waited to see if it would hold the charge....
I'll check it. Thanks.
How would I check for a loose connection? When I reinstall the battery, just make sure everything is tight?
Not a Toyota battery. It is under warranty until August, 2017.
Can anyone think of what else I should check? Since no warning lights are on?
Bought the 12 volt August, 2014. And had it checked today. Oil was just changed October 10th. Drove 1000 miles since.
I have a 2007 with 130,000 miles. Hybrid battery replaced at 109,000. Last oil change at 129,000 replaced transaxle fluid and rear brakes...
Had the battery checked. 12.58 and 12.55 under load.
Had the battery checked 12.58 and under full load 12.55. What would make it charge instead of an alternator?
I ran the self diagnostic by having the car in ign on but not ready and pressing and holding the info button while cycling the parking lights on...
So now the check engine light just came on.
Yes, I lost both. How would I check to see if voltage dropped?
I tested with the self diagnostic in the dash. Bought the battery august of 2014, it'sa optima with a 3 year warranty.
