I'm not an expert on the Prime, but I don't see how the 12V will go flat with the car in READY. Perhaps there is a timeout that will turn the car...
I popped the hood of a 2018 Prius Prime with a completely dead 12v battery. What it sounds like is that you need to lift the hood that is 'stuck'...
But on the Prime, the 12V battery is under the hood, so this isn't an issue.
I have checked mine and, as I said earlier in this thread, it hovers around 13 volts while driving once it finishes replacing the charge lost...
As pointed out before, this is completely wrong. There is the 12V lead-acid aux battery that wakes up the computers and there is the 8.79 kWh...

The manual recommend removing the 12v battery to charge it for safety reason, but I don't see it necessary to remove it since it is under the hood...
True, but the traction battery is not lead-acid, only the 12V battery in the engine compartment. This and plugging the Prime into the wall charger...
Which is why, allegedly, one can start a Prius (or Prime) with 8 D-cells.
Okay. Who HASN'T had a 12V battery issue with their 2023-24 Prime? ...well, i've heard a rumor about a guy....
*Knock on wood* but I've never had 12V battery issues. I leave my Prime plugged in overnight on a level 1 charger even after it's done charging.
