The CHRS pump is $127.46 at Camelback Toyota online. I don't know what a dealer would charge for the part and labor. My guess is $300+. You can...
Have you checked if your coolant is at the right level? Is the 3 way coolant valve operating correctly?
Now I also have a pending P1121 code.... 3-way valve if I am correct?
Yup.
Thanks for the reply JC, Would the defective 3 way valve cause the inverter coolant flow to stop?
You seem to need a new brake lamp switch and a new 3 way coolant valve.......for now
That pulsing noise you hear in the background is from a failing 3 way valve. Not sure if that's a contributing factor
do you have a check engine light on? Maybe it's the sound when the 3 way valve fails.

The valve is also in the engine coolant loop, BTW.
Common things that can cause check engine light on prius. 1. Loose gas cap 2. Bad 3 way valve 3. Bad catalytic converter
Great. You did indeed drain the Inverter loop. As for no cabin heat and the dealer telling you to replace the 3-way coolant control valve, was...
That sound points to the 3 way coolant valve, which also lights up the check engine light. Code p1121
This is the sound of a bad 3 way coolant valve. If you scan your car for codes, you should get p1121
The only "valve" I can think of for the cooling system is the "3-way" control valve- which has nothing to do with the transaxle cooling anyway....
