In theory I can make this all automatic so it wouldn't require any upkeep after I set it up.
What do you mean?
I can't think of any scenario where this would be a good idea.
I suppose I could possibly figure out a way to do that. But does anyone update that anymore?
That was my first thought, too. But nothing hidden.
Now I can get in to create a folder, but it won't let me name it extendedpids. It will let me name it absolutely anything else, but not that. So...
Totally agree. It's all about battery temp.
I think the hit you would take by selling it back to the dealership would not even be close to what you could save by going with a PiP instead. I...
Wow, what is your average during the summer? And what have temps been like for most of this tank?
It also would have cost you more off the top. So the money you would save on gas would probably be a wash unless you own the car for quite a while.
Did you already buy a regular Prius? Your side info says you own a 2013 level two.
Did someone not do their homework before they bought their current PiP? ;)
Great input...anything to back this up? Owned a PiP ever? Owned a Gen3 ever?
I too use an extension cord. Nothing gets the least bit hot, so I'm not really worried about it.
Is this Google Form still going? If not and people are interested in one I would be happy to do it.
I believe there are three different battery temp sensors, at least on Torque. If it's the same on ScanGuage, just use the middle one.
Let's not get misconceptions going in this thread. That is one of their streetview cars...not one of their SDC's.
"Starts" is the key word there. It all depends on trip length/duration.
ya, you can totally tell it's photoshopped
That's an awesome price, maybe best I've seen! But to be fair I think you can get the regular Prius base model just a hair cheaper.
