Since I have a 2015, I will keep my ears open to see it this issue comes up on mine. Not too thrilled about the possibility.
I don't think the other doors have the touch sensor installed in them. I just reset mine so when I touch the drivers door, the others open.
I guess the lowered center of gravity causes more weight to transfer to a specific area at the axles when in regen mode. Possibly a thicker grease...
