Update: go figure once I put the new plug in the error code went away and the car seems to be running normally

I didn't mention I brieflly spoke to a tech and after explaining the code etc was the first one to recommend replacing the switch and then going...
Autel sells several models of handheld from less then $40 to like $500 on Amazon...I just didn't want to have to have a blutoothth/wifi...
Switch visually looked fine but parts guy said they are a maintenance item and go bad hope this is my issue
Can you recommend a good Autel or other brand hand held scanner?
Car has the P0A0D code, so I narrowed it down to possiblly having a bad safety/service plug...
I have a Bluetooth OBD Reader coming later today...so I'm going to give the Dr.Prius App a try
Unfortunantlly as the car sat the 12v battery went dead and there are no saved codes...

No issues with the car until after it sat for several months. I just replaced the 12v battery and received the "check hybrid battery" message/car...
Are all year doors, hoods, fenders, etc interchangeable thru all model years?
