    Where is the best price for a front wheel bearing on an 02? Is there detailed instruction on changing this on the forum? thanks

    I'm not sure for '02 but when I was looking for mine (2004) I actually found the best price at the Toyota dealership. It was around $75. All other sites had U.S. manufactured bearings for around $90. I went with original "Made in Japan" Toyota bearing. For '02 might be different.

    Mail order from an online Toyota parts counter is your best bet for price. I like Conicelli, whose website is partznet.com.

    The Gen I discussion forum Generation 1 Prius Discussion - PriusChat Forums is the best place to ask questions. The axle nut requires, I think, a 32 mm 12 pt socket.
