    I didn't have mine replaced, but it was replaced prior to my purchase.

    If you haven't read it already, take a look at Hobbit's investigation:

    Prius MFD

    There are two different part numbers of MFDs - the early ones had the defect, the later ones had the defect eliminated.

    I can't vote, I had a failure which cost $25 and a couple hours work to fix.
