I'm new to the forum. Long time lurker. I have the following situation.

My 04 Prius that I just purchased had 3 of the 4 door lock actuators out . I've replaced the all 3 and now my sks functionality does not work. Is there some type of programming I need to go through when installing new actuators?

    Thanks in advanced!

    Thanks!

Battery is brand new and I totally forgot about the switch. I'll check today and update after.

    It isn't the switch. Didn't make a difference .

A new fob battery is not necessarily a good fob battery. It's rare, but I have bought several dead batteries over the decades.

But, if it was a fob bad battery, it would seem logical that none of the doors would unlock. On the other hand, three bad actuators at the same time is either an amazing coincidence or the previous owner sure didn't take very good care of that car.

Which door did work at the beginning?

Did you test the actuators from the controls on the arm rests to know for sure if it was the actuator or the fob?

I think I would go back and make sure I got everything plugged in inside the doors.

The fob batteries were replaced before the actuators and worked fine. Only the front passenger door worked when I got the car. I don't think the previous owner took good care of it .The oil filter had a handwritten date of 2014 on it.
I checked all the locks before I put the doors back together but maybe the driver's side just wasn't plugged in all the way. I'll have to check this later.

I'm at a loss but if I plug the old actuator in and it works I'll just fix the old one. I just didn't want to hastle with taking it apart as I couldn't see the images on the thread that had the instructions for it .

if the red light on the fob works, the battery should be fine. is the 12v new as well?

I figured it out. The new one sent over must've had a defective connection trace. I installed the electronics from my old actuator and now it works fine.
