    Hello Prius Community-

Here is a head-scratcher.. Or maybe not for the experts out there.
    Here are the symptoms:
-Using the FOB, the back doors lock and the front doors want to, but go halfway and then unlock.
-With the power on, sitting inside the car, I can use the lock-switch on the door and all doors lock.

Here is what I have tried for fixes:
    -Replaced the FOB batteries.
-Tested each FOB independently, each has the same result as stated above.
-Tried to reset the FOB using instructions on eHOWcom with no luck.
-Tried to reset the Body Control Module (BCM) using instructions from mechanics on eHOWcom. I think it reset but I still have the same problem with the locks.
-I went to a mech. and he did a diagnostics test, nothing showed up.
-Replaced the door jamb switched on both driver and passenger’s sides.
    -Replaced the 12V Battery.

Is it possible it’s a computer problem or is it the door actuator?
Maybe after 191K miles it's time for a new one :)
    Thanks for you help?

Do you have a second key that's inside the car? If it detects a key inside the car, it won't allow you to lock the key inside.
