06 daily driver, 09 parts car

I've been following the Gen2 forum since acquiring a wrecked '09 Prius last July, and wanted to, first, say thanks to all the many people here who have contributed answers to so many of the questions that have occurred on my quest to become familiar with this great machine's inner workings, and requirements for proper operation. The archives of this forum are a resource to be treasured.

In January, I bought another Prius, an '06 sitting at a dealership, with a failing transaxle, and a lesser option package, the goal being to arrive at the point of having a daily driver Prius, and a spare-parts vehicle; so far so good, I was able to start driving the '06 at the beginning of this month, and I'm really enjoying this little car!
