'06 mid level stereo FM sensitivity.

I'm a proud new owner of a silver 2006 Prius, and I'm quite happy with the vehicle, but as with any new car, there are a few quirks. I'm finding that the FM sensitivity of the stereo is quite bad. Now, I put an aftermarket stereo in my last car that had excellent FM sensitivity, so maybe I'm expecting too much, but I'm having trouble getting Baltimore stations in DC, which is just not good.

Has anyone else with the same problem come up with mitigation techniques, other then replacing the unit. I'm going to wait about one year before I make any modifications to the car - besides, I've seen descriptions on this site illustrating stereo replacement, and it doesn't look like it's for the faint of heart...
