On the theory that there might still be some '05s around in January... can anyone read through the marketing jargon to identify whether the '06 airbags are significantly different than the '05's?

I've got a couple of petite women in my family, and I'll pass on an '05 if I believe that '06 airbags will be safer for them.

    According to pressroom.toyota.com

The new advanced airbag system uses variable-force front airbags for both driver and front passenger. Sensors determine the severity of the impact and in turn the force with which to deploy the front airbags, helping to provide an appropriate level of occupant restraint.

Thanks -- I saw that language, but couldn't tell how much of that was already true for '05. They were already claiming "dual stage" airbags for '05.
