Ken - Make sure and remind us that your gas tank is different than the NA one.

BTW - Congrats on making it into that club!

    Thank you for your comment,

You're right that we don't have a bladder.
Why don't you make an 80 mpg club in NA.

    Congratulations!

Achieving 1,000 miles on a single tank makes a lot of sense. It is an achievable performance goal that requires attention to detail and careful driving. Our 11 gallon tank only requires an average fuel consumption a little over 90 MPG. However, I noticed the cars listed appear to be NHW20s and one Insight, right?

Are there any NHW11 or NHW10 models in the club?

I take it use of block heaters are OK? Other than not using a tow truck, are there any other rules?

Actually, he already exceeded the 30.0km/L (70.6MPG) for his Model G Touring. 35.5km/L is for Model S.

Wow, missed this thread at first. That's just amazing....I'd love to just sit in the passenger seat and watch a trip or two from you, Ken, or anyone who can do that. I'm drooling at a chance for a 700mile tank...but I'd only be 2/3rds the way there if I can even make that happen.

Thank you everybody for your warm words,

Yes, we have one NHW-11 driver and one Honda Insight driver.

My model is "G Touring" rated as 30.0 km/L, however I replaced the 16 inch Michelin tires with 15 inch Goodyear GT3 which is standard among S and G model.
So, mine is now G equivalent, then the data still exceeded the 33.0km/L (77.6 MPG) Japanese 10-15 test number. :)

    Thank you!
Actually, we, myself and wife, were invited to the Hybridfest by CleanMPG staff, but my wife won't be able to travel in July. :(
    Maybe, next year...
