I haven't posted in a while, so here is a data post.

I bought my Prius April 2, 2004, and now I have about 11544 miles on it.
The tire pressure is still at about 35 psi all around.

Lifetime MPG calculated is 48.6 (compared to 49.5 from the display, a weighted average of all fillups.)

My first 4714 miles, the mpg was 47.7
My nest 5026 miles, the mpg was 48.8
Since then, the mpg was 50.2

My previous care was a 1995 Ford Escort (my wife now drives that one around town, to avoid using the Caravan on short trips with one or two passengers), and it got 34 mpg, with the same type of driving as the Prius.

The savings to date: $217.09, Prius over Escort.

I live in Southern California, so the weather is not a problem.

Also, I always use Auto AC, set to 75 degrees, and use cruise control at the speed limit for the road.
