    i have a 2010 prius with 189k.

12 volt battery died at the office. got a jump to get it home. on the way home i noticed the radio didnt work, and neither did the back up cam.

next day i bought a 12 volt battery from the toyota dealership and installed. car started fine, but back up cam, radio, and passenger window dont work. also the auto up/down on the driver side doesnt work. it does work for both rear windows.

    any solutions out there?

    thanks!

I think you blew the radio fuse.

To reset the Windows, go to each window that doesn't work, push the window switch all the way down (window all the way down), then hold the switch all the way up for 10 seconds.

i just saw a youtube video that says i should disconnect negative cable to battery, pump the brakes 10 times and then reconnect the battery and the radio will be fixed. from reading the comments that seemed to work for most people but for some people it didnt. didn't want to go through the hassle if it doesnt work for a prius. his video was for a highlander.

so i disconnected the negative on the battery, pumped the brakes 10 times and reconnected the negative. now the auto up/down for the driver side window works, and the passenger window works, but not if i try to control it from the driver controls. back up cam still does not work and radio does not work.

jc, your solution didn't work for me either by the way.

    Check the radio fuse.

There's an actual write up on this window issue, I had this happen on my brand new car (battery jump started at dealer) That's how it's fixed.

If you wanna search my thread back in 2015, you'll find the write up
