Just took the old Prius from SW Missouri to Florida for a nice beach getaway, and quite the mental health break. Even with gas prices up, only $130 in total gas. This thing still runs like a champ, just an amazing vehicle. Out of the 33 vehicles I’ve owned, still the GOAT!

I was nerdy and parked along the beach and had my wife snag a pic from the condo balcony lol: D176ACBC-58D4-45EC-A5E2-BA952D07DB49.jpeg

I had it replaced with OEM new back in 2016 by Texas Hybrid Batteries. I had it done preventatively. 5 years/100,000 on this battery and it’s the same as new (no surprise).

Yup. Loved my Gen 3 for the tech but definitely have to respect the Gen 2. Ours ran for 245,000km before the battery failed. Otherwise, it was robust!

The current owner is probably still thanking you for selling him a great car that will last another 300k km with a new battery.

Assuming it was sold. We traded it in for a Gen 4 and the dealer said it would be put up for auction. (They said the same for my Gen 3 but I saw it on the road a month later)
