16" Touring Wheel Trim Rings

When the subject of trim rings comes up, it has always been for the 15"
standard wheels.

There is however a 16" chromed ABS trim ring available that fits the Touring
wheel:

If you look carefully at the pictures showing what wheels the rings will fit, the
first picture is the 16" Touring wheel.

This info orignally from metagrey, who made a single unrelated post
on 9.01.08. This important tidbit is from a PM exchange we had: "You need
to use a rubber mallet to get them on, as the clips are a little tight on the
prius' alloy wheels."

These rings could be used stand-alone, or as a foundation for mounting
aero discs. Flat discs made from pizza pans wont work because the center
of the wheel sticks out past the rim's edge.
