    looking at buying a 99 prius tomorrow.80km.jap import no doubt.they have offered a free one year mechanical warranty ,unsure until veiwed what is included.is there any major faults that i should look out for.8thousand NZ$ asking price

    I strongly suggest that you join, search, and then ask your question at the Yahoo! Mk1 Prius Forum. There are few if any of us here that know much about the Mk1...it's a pretty small and exclusive group and that Yahoo! forum is the best place to get the info you need.
