Hey all! So I've finally got my new acquisition out for a nice long drive. When I go over a driveway hump I get this horrid double clack under the floor board. I've jacked both sides and pried around but cant seem to locate it. anyone else have this trouble? any ideas?

oh I'm sure it is. sorry, more specifics. I just bought it. The car has 250K on it. probably never had the suspension serviced. lived in Reno Nevada all its life, now in Boise Idaho. I've been browsing the threads and seeing things like engine mounts, loose sway links, worn end links. I'm thinking I should shoot the works and replace all the rubber bushings. (and no I don't want to buy a new car!! wheres the fun in that?)

I would take it to a good shop with a lift and have them check the undercovers, exhaust, struts and bushings. You will have one thing loose, no need to change everything. Otherwise its just guessing.

    Change the rubber bushings
    They’re likely deteriorating too.
