2004 Key fob battery, silver logo

    hi guys, i have researched but come up empty.

    how often does the key fob battery last?
    our lasts only 30 days. this is the second time we replaced the it.

    Well, it should def last longer than that. Is one of your buttons stuck? There is def a problem with battery drainage on your fob.

    Store the fob at least 14 feet away from the car.

    If the battery is still draining, try turning off the SKS feature.

    If the fob is close to the car, it will constantly communicate with the car and run the battery down.

    keep it at least 3 feet from cell phones and etc.

    thanks guys, my wife keeps the fob in her purse along with the iphone..
    one button maybe stuck...the previous owners' dogs chewed it up pretty good.

    I think a replacement fob is needed at this point, since it is obviously damaged.

    just ordered the cheap replacement $37.99 key from ovnisf on ebay
