The display on my 2004 Prius went out last week. Car is currently at one of the Toyota dealers, and they say that the display screen needs to be replaced. The car has all of the problems described in TSB EL002-05. They have quoted me $1045 just for ordering the part! I can't afford this repair.

Can anyone guide me to any repair faciliities that work on the Prius in the Denver/Boulder area where I could get this done less expensively?

Thanks much for any assistance that can be provided.

P.S. Mileage is at 75,000. Therefore, I am way beyond the 36 months/36,000 mile warranty.

I've seen Prius screens on Ebay for $300 and $250. Of course, one would need to install it nad that costs about $200 based on a post here several months ago. You're going to need to do some research here to find the best deal that works for you.

    Good Luck

Have the dealer order a refurbished MFD from Toyota. It's much cheaper.
