2005 BC White delivered in Palm Springs (Cathedral City, CA)

    Our Prius arrived exactly 2 weeks after our dealer, Toyota of the Desert in Cathedral City CA, said it would arrive in "10 days to 2 weeks".

    We got exactly the car we ordered, White BC, for exactly MSRP, and the
    VIN the dealer gave us when we signed the contract is exactly the VIN of our car.

    Well, I have only driven it about 14 miles so far, but I love it!

    It is quiet, responsive, easy to drive, and definitely geeky.

    It's all good.

    First off, congrats on the new Prius! :mrgreen:

    Was the full wait two weeks? Or was there some other wait time before your dealer gave you a VIN?

    We were never on a formal waiting list, but I had contacted the dealer several months ago. From the day we first went to see him until we got the car was exactly 2 weeks.

    That's impressive. In California, nonetheless. :)

    This might be a another good sign for me that my looong wait will be just a bit shorter.
