2005 issues and a wierd one

    ok car was in for tune up died on the way home and then went back in. now the WIERD part... Picked up and the car has roughly 30,000 miles less on the car now...

    any ideas solutions etc. is a 2005 model year

    Tuned up where?
    Sounds very suspicious, there is no way the odo could have 'lost' 30K miles. What caused it to die on the way home? Could they have replaced whatever holds the ODO value with a used part? That would be sort of illegal without properly setting the ODO before returning the car to you.

    Sure you don't have it on trip? ODO button is used to reset maint indicator.
