My Son-In-Law's 2005 Prius is located in Princeton NJ and has 100k (mostly highway) miles. He has installed Satellite Radio and Dynamat to make his long commute (Hoboken NJ to Princeton NJ) less of an hassle. It has been dealer maintained which provided and should remain a reliable car.

He and my daughter now reside in Manhattan so they no longer need their Prius.

I haven't discussed price with him yet but Prii of this vintage appear to be selling for about $12k so make an offer and I will pass it on to him.

I don't know for sure. It has some extras (backup camera, new 12v battery :) ) but no NAV (He uses a Garmin). I'll send him a link to this discussion so he can answer questions.

I'm the owner. To answer the question, some details:
    Year/ model: 2205/ 1224E
    Color: Millennium silver
We got "Package #3" which includes:
    * The Smart Key System (Remote keyless entry/ engine immobilizer)
    * We have driver and front passenger dual stage airbags
    * Carpet floor mats and cargo mat

As noted above, the primary upgrade we made after the purchase was installing the Dynamat.

I see 2007's for $15,000 with half the mileage. 100,000 miles is a deal breaker at that price. Sorry for the bad news.

From Edmunds, the price range is $7.5K to $9K, $10K for dealer.

No one said that there was a firm price. Give Bob an offer.

This is the owner. Given the Edmund's price range for a car of this vintage and mileage, $5.5k is too low. Car is in fine shape and while I wouldn't expect to do better than the Edmund's range, I can't see going below it.
Also, if anyone wants to contact me directly with questions or an offer I can be reached at [email protected].
    Thanks,
    Bob
