So I went to my car today as usual and put the key in, and started it but it came up with a bunch of lights on (Brake, the triangle !, airbag, etc...) and wouldn't start. I turned it off and tried again, similar results. Then I tried again and where the D R N B P icons are the squares around them were all blinking. and all times no 0mph was displayed. Now the car won't even turn on, the lights, locks, and horn don't work. Is this just an issue of jumping the battery or a bigger electrical problem??!!

If you haven't replaced the original 12-volt battery yet, that is almost certainly the problem.

For a 2005, it's time has come for replacement.

Direct from the Toyota dealer's parts dept. Part # 28800-21170 if your car has Smart Entry / Smart Start.

Your profile indicates your car is a base model; if you really don't have the Smart system, then you'll need a different battery which has a smaller physical size.
