So I filled the prius up and so far is half full, I've only gotten 160mpg? Why? Is there something wrong? I just got pre owned with 102k. Help please btw its been really cold. Does that has something to do with it?

Ok I need help and see if someone could tell what could be the problem. Not to be picked on Mr. King. Thanks! Could it be the heat being on medium?

I'm not tryin to make fun - MPG stands for miles per gallon. Meaning how many miles your can travel per gallon. From what my research says is that a 2005 Prius has combined 46 MPG. 106 sounds kind of unheard of. Can you please clarify your question?

Your car has a rubber bladder inside the gas tank and in the winter that bladder cannpt expand enough to allow your tank to completely fill up, maybe as little as half a tank, so if it's empty on a cold day it might only hold 6 gallons and on a warm day 10. There is no cure for this, you will just have to adjust to it and fill up more often in winter.
