Okay, dropped by the dealership today. Looks like leather will be a US thing only. We will still have two packages. Package "B" is the same as the 2005 with the exception of AUX Input and MP3 player and Package "C" adds a backup camera.

None of the fancy bluetooth with JBL feature here. At least, as of now.

Hummm -- when you go to pressroom.toyota.com you get the "North American" pressroom which has a description of new features, including the leather option, under the prius description found at http://pressroom.toyota.com/Releases/View?...YT2005092058045

Perhaps Canada isn't in North America?

More likely, the Canadian dealers are just not ordering any with leather.

No, it's for US only. Toyota Canada has its own site called media.toyota.ca It used to be available to the public. Now it's password-protected for media use only.

Are you referring to www.toyota.ca where you access Club Toyota.?
I was referred to this by snail mail from Toyota where I was also asked to fill in a questionaire regarding my last service. This web site also asked me if I'd like to make an appointment for the service I'd had completed almost a month ago. It gave me a chance to vent on their overfilling my oil sump and also in not adjusting my tire pressure to 42/40 as I had actually written on the instructions. I kinda doubt if a Prius mech. worked on my car at all.
And in addition they washed the vehicle when I specifically told them not to.

    WOW!

For fear of lawsuits, it’s always been the States that came up on the short end of features being left off of vehicles. Think EV switch, auto-park, etc.

I guess this is proof that Canada’s lawyers are now bigger A$$H0(3z!

Naaaaaaa! Gotta be a typo there somewhere.

    I don't know. We didn't get the nav/bluetooth til 2005.

Don't forget, most of the stuff we don't get is because of the US :p. Cause you guys have the bigger market, it's easier for Toyota to just market an NA car rather than two separate spec'd cars. Also, leather seems to be a predominant add-on on most US cars. Most of us here still have the stock fabric.
