Wife and kids ok (whew). Prius appears to have some rear bumper damage, some scratches on back of hatch.

Offending Mustang had to be towed.

Local Toyota dealer does not have a bodyshop. They had a recommendation, and I'm planning to call them in the morning.

Any words of wisdom before I attempt to get this baby back to "good as new?"

Thats a bummer! Im glad you and the family are ok. Seems like the Prius has been an accident magnet lately based on all these accident threads I've been reading lately.

I hope everything gets resolved in a timely fashion.

ah. well if it's worth the haul up to the triangle, triangle auto body's a good shop. otherwise, check out the dealer's recommendation and see what you think of them.

bumper work shouldn't be a hard job. hatch shouldn't be too bad either.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Don't know any Pinehurst body shops, but would check the dealer's suggestion and ask any friends you know who have had the misfortune to have to use a body shop. Glad to hear that your family was not injured

NEVER EVER EVER tske it to someone you know personally or call a friend...... Insist on quality work from the beginning....

Don't make the same mistake I did, and don't assume quality work will be done ...INSPECT everything before and after!
