If so, at what price? It hasn't had much done to it except a new computer installed in it.

The asking price is $3500 from a private party person. It's a 1 owner.

Sounds like a good deal on the front end, but also a gamble.

What would you pay for a prius with that many miles.

If it hasn't had its HV battery changed (due to failure), then I'd budget for a replacement. See Failed traction (HV) battery, what to do? - Prius Wiki.

If you're unlucky, it might happen soon. If you're lucky, it might not until say 350 or 400K miles...

If they've never changed the transaxle fluid, then maybe I'd be hesitant.

For $3500 I would gamble and would change the inverter oil soon. It is worth the risk?:) H

If its got all the service records thats a pretty good deal but as others stated I'd maybe budget for the HV battery replacement.
If service records arent' available you can check toyota.com/owners and put in the vin number to add it like its yours and if service was done at a toyota dealer you can see all the records.

As always try to get it for less, maybe offer $3000 see if you can get it for a bit less..
I wouldn't do it though if you are going to RELY on this car as your main car and won't have the money to put into replacing the high voltage battery.

If it doesn't need work that the seller knows about, that's an outstanding price.
