2007 heat only works when it wants to 1 day it works next day it wont whats the problem

    Im trying to help a friend fix this problem before it gets worse what do i do... 1 day it will blow nice warm heat but the next day the heat wont work at all

    I am assuming it is still blowing air, just no heat. Does he have a check engine light? If yes, find out what dtc, likely it's the 3-way valve.

    This will give you an idea of the valve, if this is your issue.
