2007 Knocking Noise

    Hello,

    I'm hoping someone else has had this experience and can offer advice. This really loud, annoying knocking sound happens over every bump in the road. Mostly on the left, drivers side. I thought it might be the sway bar links as the ball joints were pretty worn. I put new ones on but it didn't help. Any ideas?

    Still today a day later The video errors makes no sound nothing interesting

    I compressed the video so it is a much smaller file. The larger size video file may have made it hard to play back properly on some computers or mobile devices. Hopefully this will work better.

    Okay I hear it now are you pulling on the steering wheel or something Is the steering wheel locked so it doesn't go up and down the tilt mechanism whatever? Something sounds like it's right there at the steering wheel making a racket doesn't seem like it would be the turning mechanism because it doesn't look like the wheels really turning are you a person that pulls up and down on the steering wheel while driving the car normally for some reason anything like that going on? I don't know but it sounds awfully creaky almost like somebody lifting up and down on a wooden stick to its near breaking limit or something along those lines very strange sounds like something's very loose or plastic is not seated well but the plastic I don't think so.
