new to the group and to the Prius world.

My maintenance required light came on but the car is not due for an oil change for 2000 more miles. Trying to see what the trouble is I hooked a Autolink scanner up to the car and now all of the lights are on and the car won't start... Previously there were no issues with the car, any thoughts?

    Thank you

I guess the scanner was not supposed to be used with a hybrid engine, trying to call the dealership to get more now.

The maintenance light is just a timer, based on mileage. If it wasn't reset when you last changed your oil, then it's lighting up now. Every 5000 miles

UPDATE: false alarm! The scanner must have just confused my car. All of the warning lights went back off and the car is working fine now.
    Thanks for the help!
