I might consider it an early Christmas present to get an offer to put a brand-spanking-new transaxle in my eight-year-old car for free.

Sounds as good as when my Gen 1 got a free brand new steering rack at 194,000....

We have a recall on the model X & they're sending out a mobile repair truck Monday morning. Kind of cool that we don't have to go in so yeah they do that kind of stuff nowadays. Our recall is some type of potential forward motion on the fold down 2nd row seats. No actual reports of problems, just the ol' "ounce-of-prevention" thing. While they're out here, they'll also be looking at some of the nickel & dime junk such like Homelink failing to geo auto open & close ½ the time as we approach or leave.
